Public consultation to assess 'direct management' component of EMFF 2014-2020

On Monday 28 May, the European Commission announced the opening of a public consultation to assess the performance of the direct management component of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) for the period 2014-2020.  Stakeholders will be asked to complete a questionnaire.

The EMFF aims to support implementation of the EU’s Integrated Maritime Policy and Common Fisheries Policy.

90% of the Fund is managed autonomously by national authorities.
