09/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 9 May, the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) opened an online investigation into experiences and perceptions of anti-Semitism in Europe by the Jewish community. The enquiry is open to anyone who considers themselves Jewish by religion, descent, education or otherwise. Participants also have to be aged at least 16 and currently live in one of the 13 countries covered by the investigation, namely: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The initial results from the investigation will be presented at the end of the year and will provide “important testimony” for European and national political leaders to ensure that the rights of Jewish people are applied and respected within the EU, explains the FRA.
