04/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – At a COREPER meeting of member states’ representatives to the EU on 2 May, the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU asked for a negotiating mandate for interinstitutional talks with the European Parliament on the rental of driverless vehicles and the interoperability of automatic payment systems for toll roads (see EUROPE 12013), without having to via the Council, but has backtracked.  We now understand that the standard procedure will apply.  The...
