On Thursday 3 May, all of the staff unions of the European Parliament - U4U SGPOE, US-PE, Union Syndicale Luxembourg, UB and SFIE - threatened to call strikes.
The reason? The total failure of the European institution over social dialogue. At the European Parliament, social dialogue consists of notifying the personnel committee of changes being considered by the administration, full stop, the unions argue in an email sent to all staff.
