21/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 21 March, the European External Action Service (EEAS) announced that no progress had been made in the technical discussions that were held in Brussels from 19 to 21 March on the implementation of the different agreements between Serbia and Kosovo. The discussions focused on the association of Serb majority municipalities, energy, the Mitrovica bridge, integrated border management and freedom of movement. "While the discussions were thorough, no further progress was achieved", the EEAS stated in a press release. "The EU calls on both sides to intensify their efforts on the implementation work, recalling that progress in the normalisation of relations is a key element on their respective European paths", the EEAS added. The two presidents are due to meet in Brussels on Friday 23 March. (CG)
