Warsaw replies to Commission's latest recommendations on rule of law

On Tuesday 20 March, the Polish authorities replied to the European Commission's recommendation of the end of 2017 on rule of law, which was accompanied by an opinion triggering the so-called Article 7 mechanism of the Treaty against Warsaw (see EUROPE 11930).

The Commission is now due to analyse this document before expressing its observations to the General Affairs Council in April.
