12/02/2018 (Agence Europe) – The Austrian region of Tyrol officially took over the rotating presidency of the Alpine macro-region (EUSALP) for 2018 at an event in Innsbruck on Wednesday 7 February, the European Commission announced in a press release on Friday 9 February. During this year, the Tyrolean Presidency will focus on four goals: - fair access to job opportunities; - promotion of intermodal mobility and improved connectivity of public services; - increased percentage use and wider use of renewable energy; - optimisation of the governance model with the emphasis on cooperation and coordination.
