Blockchain Observatory and Forum launched

The European Union is interested in the challenges and opportunities presented by blockchain activities. Following a European Parliament resolution on virtual currencies, the European Commission announced on Thursday 1 February, the launch of the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum. This will be jointly managed by Commission services and ConsenSys, a private company, for approximately two years.
