The European Court of Auditors (ECA) announced on Thursday 1 February that it is conducting an audit to determine whether EU and member state support for electricity generation from wind and solar photovoltaic (PV) power is effective. The auditors will visit Germany, Greece, Spain and Poland and will report early in 2019.
