17 MEPs to visit Catalan prisoners ahead of December elections

28/11/2017 (Agence Europe) – Around 17 MEPs from the Greens/EFA, GUE/NGL, ALDE and ECR are planning to make a visit “over the next few weeks” to Spanish prisons where several Catalan politicians are being held following the referendum vote on 1 October last. This news was reported in a press release from the office of Jordi Solé (Greens/ EFA, Spain), on Monday evening 27 November.
