Secondary legislation focusing on the creation of a new tobacco product traceability system is entering the adoption phase.
Member state representatives at the tobacco products committee are meeting up to this effect on Wednesday 8 November, while Parliament’s environment committee (ENVI) has set itself the deadline of 10 November to formulate an objection to the European Commission’s proposal.
