18/07/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 17 July, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini called for new momentum in the reforms in Bosnia. "The reform agenda needs a new momentum both at state and entity level, in particular in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is to be implemented in a continuous and effective way", the European External Action Service stated after Mogherini's meeting with Dragan Čović, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The EEAS says that the accession process will depend upon the pace of reforms in the country. "In this regard, the reform agenda, the adoption of the excise legislation as well as the rapid signature of the Treaty on the establishment of the Transport Community are of utmost importance", the EEAS states.
