Consensual debate at European Parliament on increased administrative cooperation to tackle VAT fraud

The debate on Tuesday 20 June at the committee on economic and monetary affairs of the European Parliament on the draft report by Ludek Niedermayer (EPP, Czech Republic) on a legislative proposal to modify the regulation (904/2010) on administrative cooperation and fighting value-added tax fraud, turned out to be largely consensual (see EUROPE 11680).
