On Thursday 8 and Friday 9 June, EU Ministers for Justice and the Interior will be meeting up in Luxembourg. Their meeting is expected to officially approve the launch for the European Prosecutor’s Office, as an instrument to tackle European budget fraud, as well as take stock of the failed attempt to reach consensus on reform or the Dublin regulation that is supposed to organise the member states’ respective responsibilities involved in processing demands for asylum.
