18/05/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 17 May, the European Commission's delegation in Algiers announced that the Commission is launching a call for proposals to support civil society organisations in Algeria's rural and agricultural sector, as part of the PAP ENPARD programme. The call aims, via networking, to "support non-state actors and local actors in their actions for rural territorial development generating income and jobs". The PAP ENPARD programme in Algeria started in December 2014 for a period of four years. It has a budget of €20 million, €10 million of which is provided by the EU budget. (FB)
