European Parliament calls for legislation protecting whistleblowers in the fight against fraud

In Strasbourg on Tuesday 14 February, the European Parliament called for a legislative proposal to be presented before the end of 2017 “protecting whistleblowers as part of the necessary measures in the fields of the prevention of and the fight against fraud affecting the financial interests of the Union”.
