From 2018, Europeans who travel to another member state will be able to access their online content more easily. Representatives from the European Parliament, Council of the EU and European Commission effectively reached an informal agreement on early Tuesday evening 7 February on a draft regulation focusing on the cross-border portability of online services principle.
This agreement was subsequently assessed by the Committee of Representatives to the EU (Coreper) on Wednesday 8 February.
