PACE Bureau wants committee of inquiry to examine allegations of corruption

30/01/2017 (Agence Europe) – Following a statement by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)’s Regulatory Commission on corruption allegations against former and current members of PACE, the body’s bureau has taken a three-pronged decision.  It is calling for a review of the PACE code of conduct (already being examined in connection with the Liddel-Grainger report), for the Council of Europe’s Group of States to get involved in the fight against corruption...
