Maltese Transport Minister Zammit Lewis announced during a debate with MEPs on the transport and tourism (TRAN) committee on Wednesday 25 January that he wanted to open fresh bilateral talks on the aviation sector with third countries during the term of office of his country’s presidency of the Council of the EU.
