On Tuesday 20 December, the Council agreed upon a general approach to the revision of the fourth anti-money laundering directive. The aim of this revision was twofold. Firstly, to put a stranglehold on the financial resources of terrorist groups, in response to the attacks which hit Paris, amongst other targets.
