The EU has given the go-ahead to €104 million for three development projects in Kenya, a country from the ACP nations (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific) connected to the EU through the Cotonou Agreement. The financing agreements were signed in Nairobi on 20 December by European Commissioner for Development Neven Mimica and Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyata, on the fringes of the joint ACP-EU Parliamentary Assembly (see other article).
