EIB lends €100 million for renovating housing in west Germany

20/12/2016 (Agence Europe) – On 16 December, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed an agreement with German real estate group LEG Immobilien AG for a €100 million lending facility to finance energy modernisation in housing portfolios in Rheinland-Westphalia.  The loan was made possible by guarantees from the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI), the financial arm of the European Strategic Investment Plan.  (EH)
