Meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, from 19 to 21 December, the Joint Parliamentary Assembly (JPA) – a key political forum of the ACP-EU partnership which every six months brings together 78 MEPs and their national counterparts from the 78 ACP (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific) countries linked to the EU by the Cotonou Agreement – opened with a call for migrants to be treated with dignity.
