On Thursday 17 November, the Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper) adopted their negotiating position, on behalf of the Council, with regard to developing a a visa liberalisation system for Ukraine.
They confirmed that the Council supported the Commission’s position for lifting these visa obligations but that with regard to Georgia, their final agreement would depend on another dossier that is still pending and which involves the suspension mechanism for these visa waiver...
