On Thursday 10 November, the European Commission announced that the budget earmarked in 2017 for actions to promote agricultural products within the single market and in third countries will be increased to €133 million, an increase of €22 million on the 2016 budget (€111 million).
This money will be used to co-finance several programmes, most of which will be aimed at third countries such as China, the Middle East, North America, South-East Asia and Japan.
