18/10/2016 (Agence Europe) – The international advocacy organisation European Digital Rights (EDRi) published a booklet on Tuesday 18 October – "Your guide to Digital Defenders vs. Data Intruders – Privacy for kids!", to help young people between 10-14 years protect their privacy. The booklet helps young people make safer and more informed choices about what to share and how to share online. It includes chapters on what privacy actually is, how to use safer messaging systems and how to improve the security of smartphones. It also provides illustrations of the Digital Defenders who fight back against data villains. Currently, the booklet is only available in English but EDRi says that translations will follow.
