EU allocated €12 million for re-building of Nahr el-Bared camp

07/10/2016 (Agence Europe) – The European Union has allocated €12 million to help rebuild the Nahr el‑Bared camp in Lebanon, United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced on Friday 7 October.  The funding will go to support the rehousing of approximately 400 families and the construction of 87 retail units.  Nahr el-Bared is a Palestinian refugee camp in the north of Lebanon.
