On Thursday 6 October, the European Parliament regretted that workers’ rights and European citizenship activist Andy Hall was condemned in Thailand on 20 September to a suspended sentence of three and a half years and a fine of 150,000 Thai baht for contributing to a report by Finnish NGO, Finnwatch, that condemned violations of labour rights in a factory in Thailand.
