Inaugural meeting of CEAOB auditing committee

Brussels, 15/07/2016 (Agence Europe) - The Committee of European Auditing Oversight Bodies (CEAOB) held its inaugural meeting on Tuesday 12 July.

EU Regulation 537/2014, which came into force in June, lays down a new framework for cooperation among national auditing oversight bodies and the CEAOB, which has the aim of boosting convergence of practices and helping ensure respect of EU rules, which will help boost investor confidence.
