The EU has condemned the terror attack on Sunday 13 March that left 16 dead at the coastal resort of Grand Bassam on the Ivory Coast, which Al Qaida au Maghreb islamique has since claimed responsibility for. In a press release published on Sunday, a spokesperson for EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said that once again, terrorists attacked civilians of all nationalities and people would remain united to combat their blind violence. Those guilty of such atrocities must be held responsible for their acts and brought to justice.
