Court annuls sanctions against Iranian bank after refusal by Council of EU to reveal evidence

Brussels, 18/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - By engaging in a circular argument and refusing to reveal the evidence for its decision, the Council of the EU failed to persuade the Court of Justice of the EU that the freeze on the funds of an Iranian bank (Bank Mellat), in place since 2010, was legal.
