New chair of COP 21 makes rapid signing of Paris Accord her main priority

Brussels, 18/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - Having newly been appointed chair of COP 21 Ségolène Royal, the French Minister for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, immediately announced on Thursday 18 February that she is “fully committed to ensuring that the Paris Accord is implemented at all levels”.

Taking over from Laurent Fabius, who now chairs the French constitutional council, Royal has made the swift signing and ratification of the Accord her number one priority.
