Parliamentary committee vote to improve antibiotic use in rearing

Brussels, 18/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - During a vote on Wednesday 17 February, the European Parliament's Environment Committee quashed the European Commission's initial proposal on how to improve the fight against antibiotic resistance in animal husbandry (see other article below on the vote). The plenary vote will take place in March or April.

By adopting (60 votes in favour, with 2 against) the report by Françoise Grossetête (EPP, France) on the proposal on veterinary medicines, MEPs...
