04/12/2015 (Agence Europe) - Molterer and Tsanova officially at helm of EFSI. On Thursday 3 December, the president of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Werner Hoyer appointed Wilhelm Molterer from Austria as the deputy managing director of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) - the financial arm of the Juncker plan, which is supposed to attract €315 billion of additional investment in three years (see EUROPE 11411). Iliyana Tsanova from Bulgaria will assist him. Alongside this, eight financial experts have been chosen to grant the EU guarantee to the projects that will benefit from support under the investment plan. (MB)
