Brussels, 09/10/2015 (Agence Europe) - Virtually no lessons have been learnt from the major red sludge industrial accident in Hungary five years ago, even though minor similar accidents could take place in other member states, regretted the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Thursday 8 October.
The European Parliament therefore urges the European Commission to ensure better management of toxic industrial waste and to make industry responsible.
