The Eurogroup will hold an extraordinary meeting on Monday 23 November in order to rule on the draft national budgets of the eurozone. Prior to this, the European Commission will have presented its assessment of the draft budgets of the 28 EU member states - which are due to be sent to the Commission by mid-October at the latest, in compliance with the rules of the Stability and Growth Pact.
