Parliament wants to extend geographical indications to manufactured goods

Brussels, 15/09/2015 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's legal affairs committee (JURI) voted unanimously on Tuesday 15 September for geographical indication (GI) protection to be extended to manufactured, industrial and traditional goods.
