26/08/2015 (Agence Europe) - Call for projects in Poland as part of PO WER programme. The labour office of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship in Poland has launched a call for project proposals as part of the PO WER programme financed by the European Social Fund - a programme that aims to fight youth unemployment. Over €5 million is available. The programme will involve young 15-29-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) and it will contribute to projects giving rise to career opportunities or apprenticeships in new professional skills. In addition, the programme will seek to promote self-employment and the integration of disabled people. Young 18-34-year-olds account for nearly half the jobseekers in the region. (PH)
