20/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - Minimum wage. On Monday 20 July, Germany informed the European Commission of its response following the launch of infringement proceedings on 19 May against Germany's draft legislation establishing a minimum wage in the transport sector. In the Commission's view, the draft legislation - although it has been put on hold (but not withdrawn) - disproportionately restricts the free provision of services and the free movement of goods (see EUROPE 11317).
