Brussels, 20/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - The Rural Development Programme (RDP) for Cantabria was formally adopted by the European Commission on Monday 20 July.
The programme contains funding of €250.5 million of public money that is available for the period 2014-2020: €98.8 million from the EU budget, €54.3 million of national co-funding plus €97.4 million of additional national funding top-ups. Nearly 3% of farmers will get support to restructure and modernise their farms and support will be provided for young farmers. The region will also support training for more than 7,000 participants.
