Panel set up in EU-China poultry dispute

Brussels, 20/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - The WTO dispute settlement body decided on Monday 20 July to set up a special group to rule on the complaint lodged by China against amendments made in 2013 affecting tariff concessions on certain poultry meat products.

China has complained to the WTO about the agreement concluded by the EU in 2012 with Brazil and Thailand on the allocation of quotas for poultry meat products. China argues that the quota, allocated almost exclusively to Brazil and...
