Brussels, 12/06/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 11 June, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced in a press release that it “has decided to lend €10 million” to MED Packaging, a subsidiary of Papeles y Cartones de Europa S.A. (Europac), for a project in Morocco.
This is “the Europac Group's largest investment outside the European Union”, the EIB stated. “With this major investment outside the European Union, the Spanish group Europac, which has been supported by the EU bank in the past, is continuing its international growth on the strategic Moroccan market”, the EIB continues. The operation will be secured by the Spanish bank Banco de Sabadell. (Fathi B'Chir)
