Brussels, 27/01/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 27 January, the European Commission disbursed €13 million in grants to Georgia. This first tranche represents the 'grant' plank of the macro-financial aid of €46 million granted by the EU to Georgia (see EUROPE 11217). It will be topped up by an envelope of €10 million in loans, to be disbursed shortly. A second tranche, consisting of €10 million in grants and €13 million in loans, will be paid in mid-2015. (MB)
