Brussels, 27/01/2015 (Agence Europe) - A step was taken on Tuesday 27 January towards replacement of certain pesticides by more sustainable alternatives, insofar as these are available and viable. Member state experts approved a list of 77 pesticides that could be replaced by substitute products, as required by Article 80 (7) of Regulation 1107/2009 on the marketing of plant protection products.
