04/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - EU condemns al-Qaeda attack targeting Iranian ambassador. On Wednesday 13 December, the European External Action Service (EEAS) said the European Union strongly condemned the bomb attack on the residence of the Iranian ambassador to Yemen in Sanaa, earlier in the morning. The car bomb attack was claimed by al-Qaeda and left one person dead, with 17 others injured. No Iranian diplomat was injured. (CG)
