Brussels, 13/11/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 11 November, the European Commissioner for Competition, Margrethe Vestager, said that the Commission would need longer to decide on the next steps in the Google dossier, in the framework of an investigation being carried out by her services into suspected abuse of dominant position.
“The issues at stake in our investigations have a big potential impact on many players, they are multifaceted and complex”, Vestager explained, at a hearing before the committee on economic and monetary affairs of the EP. She went on to stress that the broader the scope, the more issues would be raised and the longer it would take. (EL)
