On 4 July, the Russian authorities announced an embargo on imports of some dairy products from Ukraine, invoking health reasons. The Russian health authority said that it had observed bacterial contamination and infringements of standards while inspecting cheese produced by Milkiland, a company based in Kiev. (EH)
