Brussels, 12/03/2014 (Agence Europe) - On 11 March, the EU Council of Ministers formally adopted (under the first point of their agenda) the EU's third multiannual healthcare programme, which will run from 2014 to 2020, after agreement was reached on 6 November 2013 between the European Parliament and the Council under the Lithuanian Presidency. The Parliament formally adopted the programme in plenary on 26 February. (IL)
