Better victim protection in the EU

Brussels, 07/06/2013 (Agence Europe) - In Luxembourg on Thursday 6 June, EU justice ministers gave the final approval to new rules introducing better support for the victims of domestic violence, who may soon be guaranteed aid across the EU. The new regulation covers protection decisions that apply across the EU and could enable the victims of violence to have protection orders issued in their country of residence apply across the EU.
