Brussels, 13/09/2012 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 12 September, MEPs validated new rules on the rights of victims of crime in the EU. Victims of crime will now benefit from the same basic standards throughout the EU (except in Denmark, which chose to opt out). A press release explained that they would be able to receive free support services, such as psychological help and the right to be questioned by police and heard in court in a language they understand.
